All of the details are below, you don’t have to be an all-mountain extreme skier to really enjoy yourself. If you’re confident on blue runs you’ll fit right in.

Better start getting those legs in shape now! Robin Whitelaw and Paul Rizzo will graciously be playing tour guide and Robin will be giving out pointers for those interested. We plan to start the day skiing as one group and depending on the number of people who sign up, we may split up into two groups. For those of you who want to get in some hardcore skiing, time allowing, Robin and/or Paul will take you for a couple of laps on the iconic black diamond runs at Mary Jane.

After our legs can’t take it anymore, or it’s 2pm we’ll all meet up at the base of Mary Jane for some appetizers and refreshments! aka Après Ski!

Skiing ability: Can confidently ski/ride all blue runs

Carpooling

• We will provide a list of everyone that is open to carpooling.
• Carpoolers will plan to meet at the Park and Ride/T-Rex lot in Morrison, CO.
• Guaranteed, you’ll know some of your fellow members a heckuva lot better by the time you get back to Denver.

Breakfast at Goodys Mountain Creperie

• Be there at 8am sharp (if you want to eat breakfast AND not wait in a long line)
• Great crepes and Bloody Mary’s … and lots of ski stories (some of them true)

1st lift – Gondola

• If you miss the breakfast then we will be getting on the Gondola no later than 9:30am
  • We will gather in-front of the Lift Ticket office (close to the Gondola) to get passes figured out … try to be there by 9am.
  • If you get there before us, then we are probably on our 2nd Bloody Mary at Goodys … so come get us
• If you arrive at the Gondola AFTER 9:30am we’ll do our best to connect with you on the hill, but that can be tricky … so please try to be on time

Lift Passes

• Those that have Winter Park (Ikon) passes will help others get a discounted pass
• Once we know who is coming and who has WP passes, we’ll figure it out
• We won’t expect you to keep your commitment to ski with us unless we can get you a discounted pass (but you’ll need to confirm this BEFORE you arrive at the mountain) J
  • Paul will help identify which members have IKON passes and can help you get a discount

Parking

• G lot is great, the bus will drop you off almost directly in front the Gondola
• If you don’t mind paying $10 then the Vintage lot is an option too and you can hop on the cabriolet lift rather than take a bus

Bring water, energy bars and/or snacks

• As we’re skiing to 2pm this might come in handy
