THE DISTANCE TO THE VENUE IS 45 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN DENVER – Kiowa Creek Sporting Club 46700 E County Rd 30, Bennett, CO 80102.

Members/guests can bring their own shotguns or can rent them there (with advance notice by calling Kiowa Creek Sporting Club, (303) 644-4627). Ammo can be purchased upon arrival. Hunter safety card is NOT needed for a sporting clay event.

- Format: Sporting clays course, shot in groups of 3-5 people. Beginners welcome.
- Guests are welcomed if registered. The cost for a guest is TBD (venue fee, targets). As this is an event designed to expand and build on member relationships, we prefer to limit guests to no more than 2 per member.
- No Shows will be billed for the cost of their spot unless they can fill the spot with a replacement.
- 12:00PM – update – there will be no box lunch provided … bring your own lunch and we’ll have 2 tables reserved in the Club House for socializing before we begin.
- 1:30PM – Safety briefing, equipment rentals/ammo purchase (if needed).
- 2:00-4:45PM – Clay Shoot followed by refreshments served and an awards ceremony.
Know before you go:
- Eye and ear protection are required for everyone, including spectators. Prescription or sunglasses are fine for eyes. Kiowa Creek sells inexpensive eye and ear protection.
- Bring your own target loads and guns. The maximum shot size is 7-1/2 with a maximum 1-1/8-oz load. Guns may be shared by 2-3 people.
- Attire: Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty. Layers recommended.
