Laughter Together is a 45-minute workshop built around a pretty simple idea: people work better together when they actually enjoy being around each other.
Work can get serious. Deadlines, meetings, stress, and the never-ending to-do list can make it pretty easy to forget that we’re humans first and coworkers second. Research has consistently connected laughter with reduced stress, stronger social connection, and greater feelings of trust and belonging—things that matter in any healthy workplace.
So I use laughter as the doorway.
Participants take part in easy, low-pressure games and improv-inspired activities. No comedy experience, performing, or trying to be funny required. In fact, the goal isn’t really to make people laugh at each other—it’s to get people laughing with each other.
Underneath the fun, people practice being present, listening, taking small risks, responding to one another, and creating something together. Rather than just talking about teamwork and connection, people experience it.
